These terms apply when you buy from Oyinvee.com or submit a commercial enquiry to us. Please read them before placing an order.
About us
This site is operated by OYINVEE GLOBAL LIMITED, a company registered in Nigeria, processing and packaging premium natural shea butter.
Orders
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed once we confirm the order and payment has been verified. If we cannot fulfil an order, for example because an item is out of stock or the delivery address falls outside our delivery zones, we will tell you and refund any payment taken.
We may decline or cancel an order where the product is unavailable, where pricing or product information was incorrect, or where we suspect fraudulent activity.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in Nigerian Naira and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you commit to the order.
Online payment is processed securely by our payment provider. We verify every transaction on our side before an order is confirmed, so a redirect back to the site is not on its own confirmation that payment succeeded.
If a price is listed incorrectly, we will contact you before processing the order rather than charging the wrong amount.
Delivery
We deliver within Nigeria to the zones listed at checkout. Delivery fees and estimated delivery windows depend on your zone and are shown before payment. Estimated windows are estimates, not guarantees, and can be affected by circumstances outside our control.
International customers should submit an enquiry rather than ordering online, as international orders are handled by quotation.
Returns and cancellation
You may cancel an order before it is dispatched for a full refund. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel.
If a product arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, contact us within a reasonable period of delivery and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Please keep the packaging until the matter is resolved.
Because this is a cosmetic product, we cannot accept the return of items that have been opened or used unless they are faulty.
Product information
Our shea butter is a natural, unrefined product. Colour, texture and aroma vary between batches, and firmness changes with temperature. This is normal for unrefined shea and is not a defect.
The product is for external use only and contains tree nuts (shea). If you have a known nut allergy or a skin condition, patch test first and seek medical advice. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.
Wholesale and export
Bulk, distributor, private label and export orders are handled by enquiry and quotation rather than online checkout. Quantities, specification, packaging, documentation, incoterms, payment terms and lead times are agreed per order and set out in a written quotation. A quotation is valid for the period stated on it.
Liability
We are responsible for supplying products that match their description and are of satisfactory quality. We are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses where you are buying in the course of a business, except where the law does not allow that limitation.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes fall to the Nigerian courts.
